Ranked among Europe's elite filmmakers, Carlos Saura had his greatest impact in the late '60s and early '70s when his often politically charged films revitalized Spanish cinema. Like his mentor Luis Buñuel, Saura freely blends reality with the macabre and an often grotesque surrealism to create worlds in which reality is subjective. Saura's most powerful films came during the last years of Franco's regime; while he still made important films after the dictator's death in 1975, many critics regard them as lacking the potency and lasting appeal of the earlier works.

With a medical degree from the University of Valencia, he left his high up job in Health Administration in his community in 1983 to devote himself to a vocational career that led him to become one of most renowned producers in Spain in musical events and shows.

Jose Luis was born in 1948 in Malaga and is graduated in Political Science. His literary work is enormously extensive and includes countless editions and collaborations in inmunerables books and publications by other authors. The work “Alegato Contra la Pureza” (“Allegation Against the Purity”) is a very good example of his best writings.He has worked in press, radio and television, ranging from articles for newspapers to the completion of the script and interpreting for a fun instructional video.

Saura Medrano has a large experience at cinema world, working as Film Director, Assistant Director, Guionist and Executive Producer.

Chano Dominguez is a highly unique artist that over a recording career of 18 albums as a leader has established himself as one of the very few artists who can play jazz totally authentically, and who can also play Spain’s native music artform of Flamenco totally authentically. And who successfully fuses the two. As a matter of fact the flamenco guitar was Chano’s first instrument (he picked it up eight years old) prior to him switching to piano at age twelve.

Antonio Rey Navas, born in 1981 in Madrid in a family of artists, is one of the most acclaimed names in the current flamenco music scene. Winner of National Guitar Prize 2010.   He has recently recorded his first album with the label EMI Music Spain, “Colores de fuego”, with the collaboration of Estrella Morente, Vicente Amigo, Josemi Carmona and Arcángel.

The first creations of Dospormedio y Compañia are the pieces “Martinete” and “Tres por medio”, with which they performed as invited artists in the Flamenco and Spanish Dancing Choreography Contest in Madrid in 2003.   In 2005 they presented their first show, “Tiempo” (Spanish dancing suite). In 2006 they première “Muñecas” and “…a Piano”, and in 2007 they acquire a very huge success in Jerez with a theatrical version of “Muñecas”.

He worked at Ballet Víctor Ullate, Ballet du Grand Thèâtre de Genève, Ballet de l'Òpera de Lyon, CND (Nacho Duato). From 2007 until now he’s been guest dancer- choreographer in Sasha Waltz & Guests (Berlin) taking part of the new projects and creations of the company, working as well with Juan Kruz Díaz de Garaio Esnaola. As a choreographer: "1Calvario", "Cebolla nf Ognion m" (Atèliers du Ballet de Genève), "Heidi" (with Bruno Cezario at Espaço Sesc Rio de Janeiro), "A" (with Daniela Presta), "Ostinato" (La Mov, Zaragoza).

Antonio Alvarado, fashion designer, writer, photographer… is an icon of tradition and modernism, and, indubitably, one of the best designers in Spain, with a more than 20 years track that has always kept away from impositions. He has combined his endless creativity for designing with a definite compromise with the young talents of this country.   He is part of the Pasarela Cibeles from its first edition in 1984. His parades have always had a great echo in the international vanguard press, as well as his showings in Milan, Florence, Berlin, Munich, and Bordeaux.

Paco was born in Rotterdam in 1965, although spanish nationalized. He studies photography direction in Rome, and continues his studies throughout countless seminars in Europe and USA with many great international specialists. He is an active member of the Cinema Authors Spanish Association (AEC).

Laura Martínez is born in Valladolid in 1977. After graduating in Communication, she next graduates in Artistic Direction at the Cinematography School (ECAM). Additionally, Laura studies drama and Political Sciences. As a non-stop student, Laura travels to Nice and Paris with a scholarship to complement her artistic education.
